Aphantasia is the inability to visualize mental images. This means not being able to see things in one’s own mind. A great deal of people who live with Aphantasia are also unable to recall sounds, smells, sensations or touch. Even if not diagnosed with this condition, this meditation is a great way to practice meditation without visualization. It helps you to tune into your body here and now, in the present moment, without tuning into the mind’s eye.
